“This first single from Waited Up Til It Was Light says so much with just post-it notes & aerial shots, perhaps forever changing the voice of UK indie rock.” – Pitchfork TV

“Salt, Peppa, and Spinderella” is just one of the 13 tracks on Johnny Foreigners debut album Waited Up ‘Til It Was Light that comes out this October on Nettwerk. Already garnering huge buzz in the UK, this trio combines indie punk guy/girl vocals with feverish guitar lines to showcase their undeniable energy and talent.  With NME, Kerrang! Rock Sound and Drowned in Sound going nuts about their sound, the album release comes on the heels of a head-turning performance at SXSW 2008 and a string of highly successful tours with artists that include Los Campesinos! Young Knives, and Idlewild.

“Forward-thinking young guitar-slingers…turbo-charged, noisy and downright promising.” - NME
