New Ra Ra Riot Album out 8/19 on Barsuk; Fall 2008 Tour

In advance of their appearance at Siren Festival this weekend, here's a little Ra Ra Riot treat - 'Dying Is Fine'.  Just consider it something to wet your whistle while waiting for their upcoming debut album The Rhumb Line which will be out August 19th on Barsuk Records .
 
They're playing a couple of festivals soon, so if you haven't seen RRR yet and are going to Coney Island this weekend (or Chicago in a few weeks), you should make sure to check them out.  They're simply stunning.

Ra Ra Riot spent late 2007 recording The Rhumb Line with producer Ryan Hadlock (The Gossip, Blonde Redhead, Islands). Soon afterwards, the band was on the road again, playing over 80 shows all around the U.S, both supporting the Cribs and headlining their own shows.  The Syracuse, New York-based quintet will be hitting every corner of the country this fall with Walter Meego and some dates with the morning benders.  If you haven't seen 'em yet, let me know and we'll make sure to get you in.
