U.S. Tour & Busking Performances Kick Off July 31 in NYC To Celebrate U.S. Debut CD, Dropping August 5!
“/Passenger. walks that fine line between credible rock and accessible pop without even a single stumble”

In celebration of their debut CD, Wicked Man’s Rest, /PASSENGER. returns to the U.S. July 31 for a two week tour, giving American audiences another dose of their poignant tales spun as gorgeously melodic and well-crafted pop songs.
With brilliant songwriting and a quick-witted sense of humor, /PASSENGER. revels in engaging their fans on a personal level.  When the five-member band first tried busking on a recent tour, they were delighted to discover the ability to connect with a whole new audience. Front-man Mike Rosenberg explains, “it’s brilliant because people that don’t usually go to our gigs and are exposed to our music.” /PASSENGER. enjoys the intimate audience interaction that busking allows, a novelty that often disappears when playing larger venues.”  In a relaxed outdoor environment, the audience can enjoy /PASSENGER.’s raw sound, free from the distractions of a stage and lighting.” Mike claims, “busking is fascinating because you strip everything away, there’s no keyboards, no massive drums and yet the same songs get to people. It’s really nice to have that confidence that your core [still] appeals to people.”
Following on the heels of a successful UK busking tour, /PASSENGER. are thrilled to continue the practice at select stops on their upcoming tour (see dates below).
/PASSENGER. have already had success in the UK, with shows opening for Kate Nash, The Hold Steady and Newton Faulkner.  The band have also become a favorite on the UK festival circuit with a second year confirmed at both The Great Escape and V Festival in addition to a performance at Scotland’s Connect Festival this summer where they’ll share a bill with Sia, Sigur Ros, Franz Ferdinand and many more.
