Cage The Elephant Announce US Tour

Four Electrifying Shows Left SXSW Crowds Staggering

“Band That Best Met Pre[SXSW] Conference Hype/Hope:  Cage The Elephant.  “…is just a pretty awesome rock band from Kentucky.  …this band has more commercial potential than any act I saw”
- Bill Werde, Billboard

"Cage the Elephant: Slide guitars provide sizzle and grease on the Kentucky quintet's sassy, sneering, uncomplicated blues rock.”

-
Edna Gundersen, USA Today

Cage The Elephant's self titled debut album just became available on iTunes and entered the iTunes Album Chart at #54!  The record will be available in stores this Spring.  Newly signed to Jive Records, Cage the Elephant created a stir at last week’s South by Southwest Festival with their compelling live performances. If you weren’t able to catch the Kentucky rockers at SXSW, you will have another chance this April when Cage The Elephant will kick off a 14 city US tour.

Cage The Elephant are Bowling Green, Kentucky natives Matt Shultz (vocals), his brother Brad (guitar) and their friends Daniel Tichenor (bass), Lincoln Parish (guitar) and Jared Champion (drums).  The bands first single “Ain’t No Rest For The Wicked” is the #2 most added at Alternative Radio.  Check out the video,
"Ain't No Rest For The Wicked", directed by D.A.R.Y.L. of Pulse Films.
