South-London's trio Beaty Heart are pleased to reveal details of their eagerly anticipated debut album Mixed Blessings, along with new track "Banana Bread" and the news that they will be joining JUNGLE on tour.
Slated for release via upcoming label Nusic Sounds & Caroline on May 12th, Beaty Heart arrive with Mixed Blessings, a record that sees them take and combine their tongue-in cheek attitude and pulsating personality to form 13 tracks of blissful psych-pop.
To mark the news of their debut album Beaty Heart
are revealing the opening track to their debut album - the layered,
cacophonous and gloriously vibrant, "Banana Bread".
With influences taken from The Beach Boys, Olivia Tremor Control, Lee Scratch Perry and pop music from around the world, Mixed Blessings was recorded during the later end of 2013, with esteemed producer Dave Eringa, and sees the band fulfill their early potential and deliver a record that shows their continuous journey; developing their tropical infused pop with a more exposed structured sound, whilst retaining their strong percussive backbone and off-kilter left-field ethos.
Amid support coming from the likes of Radio 1's Huw Stephens, Phil Taggart & Alice Lavine, Rob Da Bank, daytime play from 6Music's Radcliff & Maconie, Tom Ravenscroft (who made them record of the week) and spins from XFM, as well as scoring a B-list on Amazing Radio Beaty Heart will be joining the rising powerhouse that is JUNGLE on the road, having been asked back following a series of shows with them this June.
Mixed Blessings will be available just in time for summer and sees a May 12th 2014 release via Nusic Sounds / Caroline. BEATY HEART US TOUR DATES:
