“On the evenings of December 6th,
7th and 8th Cloud Cult performed a set of songs arranged for the band’s
eight voices, twelve acoustic guitars and two canvases at the Southern
Theatre in Minneapolis. The setlist consisted of songs from the band’s
nine album discography, chosen for the continuity of their lyrical
messaging. The shows were recorded and filmed live, and we chose our
favorite songs from each night for this album.” – Cloud Cult
After 15 years of performing intensely elaborate electric shows, Cloud Cult is set to bring a pure, intimate and stripped down performance to the stage this spring to accompany the April 15th release of Unplug. The upcoming shows are an “evening with” Cloud Cult as each night features two complete sets – one acoustic and one electric.
