Colourmusic Tour the West with Dressy Bessy

Everyone's favorite white-jumpsuit wearing indie rock quartet,
Colourmusic, will be touring in support of their full-length debut,
f, monday, orange, february, venus, lunatic, 1 or 13, this December,
blessing audience members from Albuquerque to Boise with their
rambunctious, exuberant music, music that Amplifier Magazine calls
"a parting of the clouds in a smog-heavy pop sky."

f, monday, orange, february, venus, lunatic, 1 or 13 -- out now
on Great Society -- is spawned from a collaboration of good friends,
strong hooks, and organically layered arrangements, an album that's
both practiced and spontaneous, an album that captures both the
unadulterated passion found in Colourmusic's incendiary live show
and their consummate musicianship. It's a complete work, one that
truly shows off their unbridled energy and unbounded creativity,
a creativity and good humor that can also be seen in the multiple
music and instructional videos the band has made.

Colourmusic will be opening for Denver's Dress Bessy for much of
December, stopping in Tucson, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco,
and Los Angeles, before making their way back home, via Colorado
and Kansas. They're also touring even more extensively in January
— more dates to come!

"Every harmony is pitch-perfect, every solo is executed flawlessly,
and the band's slightly askew pop sensibilities are always in full
force. I don't think it a stretch to call it one of the best albums
of 2008 so far." - Prefix Mag (9/10)

"And on numbers like, 'Spring Song' and 'Circles,' old rubs up
against new - think the drive and drama created by Starsailor and
the whimsical psychedelia captured on Piper At The Gates Of Dawn
or Sgt. Pepper. But whatever inspires Colourmusic has resulted in
something wholly original. Their…debut is a parting of the clouds
in a smog-heavy pop sky." - Amplifier Magazine
