Meanwhile, the Los Angeles producer and DJ DESTRUCTO is gearing up for his Ship2Ship national tour tomorrow (January 14) in New York City where he will be supporting his WEST COAST EP out now on InsomniacRecords/Interscope. It is a selection of g-house tracks that merge the after-hours energy of dance music with the streetwise wordplay of top west coast hip-hop hit-makers like Too $hort, Kurupt and YG. The EP features DESTRUCTO’s current single “Dare You 2 Move” featuring LA rapper Problem. Now, Beatport is offering a special remix package of the track including remixes by some of the edgiest names in dance--Shiba San, Jack Beats and Djemba Djemba. Also making its way into DJ sets is the DESTRUCTO & Wax Motif official remix of the Warren G classic “Regulate.” (Warren G along with Ty Dolla $ign also appear on “Nobody Else” from the WEST COAST EP). The “Regulate” remix is already impacting Hype Machine, peaked at #3 on the remix chart and #3 on the overall chart.
