I bought a used Destiny 2 game for PS4 because it was on a steelbook. I knew it was an online game, but after reading that you can play the campaign offline, I decided to give install and started playing the game. It was going okay, and then 20 minutes into the game - I got a "lost connection" message. Even though I own the game, I can't play it. What a crappy game. Searching online, Bungie blames PlayStation Network (which is no surprise as that's a crappy service too) and PSN said everything is up and up. On Friday, July 13, they said the problem as "subsided", but I still think it's lame that you have to be online to play an offline campaign. This is why I try and buy game that doesn't require me to be online (like DRM), so I would not getting Destiny 3 if that comes out. |
